Connie passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends.
We would like to thank the staff of 5 South at the Victoria General Hospital for their compassionate care and conspicuous attention to prioritizing mum’s dignity.
A private family gathering will be held in place of a funeral or memorial service, and to celebrate Connie please raise a glass and toast the memory of this well-loved Scot.

Connie was my best friend, we met at the Winnipeg badminton club where we played doubles together, winning numerous provincial ladies doubles championships. John and I became friends with Connie and Rex and took them to our island paradise “Skulkers Point”, at Clearwater Bay, Ontario, which they loved. This, I am sure this prompted them to buy a cottage for their family at Clear Lake, Manitoba. Our families spent many Hogmanay evenings, bringing in the New Year royally, as all Scot’s do.
